Creating A Difference

Jonathan Stein and The Laszlo Fischer Foundation have teamed up to creatively affect change. Art for centuries has helped Societies learn, grow, become more compassionate, dream and heal. Through ongoing creative community outreach, Stein will work hand-in-hand with LFF to implement dynamic activations and fundraising campaigns to best serve the community; while also preserving and honoring the memory of Laszlo Fischer.
Jonathan Stein was born in Bronx, New York in 1978. A Classically trained artist having studied at Boston University; Stein received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education with a minor in Photography and Art History. Throughout his education, Stein also holds degrees from the New York Film Academy and the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
Internationally recognized for his illustrious hand jewel-encrusted bronze sculpture and mixed media crystal paintings; Stein’s work serves as an elegant tapestry of light and shimmer, reflected from tens of thousands of individually placed Swarovski crystals. Jonathan Stein’s work has appeared in countless publications. He has had solo and group exhibitions within the United States, Europe and Latin America; while also being a featured artist during Art Basel Miami Beach for close to 10 years.
A philanthropic advocate, Stein formerly served as the Creative Director for Drops of Hope Inc., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit in South Florida, which provides fantasy room makeovers for underprivileged pediatric cancer patients. Stein currently serves as the Chief Creative Director for the Laszlo Fischer Foundation, which provides life-affirming resources for Foster Care Children aging out of the system. Stein has worked with celebrities like Katy Perry and noted companies like Gibson Guitar, Office Depot, Nascar and Remy Martin Cointreau to benefit children and women in distress. In addition, Jonathan has also spent over 15 years working closely with developmentally disabled adults and children through art education and social work advocacy programs. “ I truly believe art has an infinite ability to inspire and enrich the lives of others. My life’s work is a balance between charity and creativity, it’s here I find my passion and my purpose”, Stein 2009.
